Looking for something to do to take advantage of the Milwaukee Summer months? Check out this list of some of my favorite activities!
1. Check out all the local festivals
Milwaukee isn’t called “The City of Festivals” for nothing! There is always something going on. Head to OnMilwaukee to see a full list of this year’s festival line up.
2. Find a Farmers Market
Milwaukee, and the surrounding area, is filled with Farmers Markets! They are the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning with friends and family, or by yourself.
3. Listen to Jazz in the Park
Pack a picnic (and some wine) and head over to Jazz in the Park! This is great Thursday night spot to chill out and get a jump start on your weekend.
4. Get out on the Water
Enjoy Milwaukee’s beautiful lakefront and head to Bradford Beach, rent a boat, or have enjoy some drinks with friends on a paddle tavern.
5. Enjoy Dinner Patio-Side
Enjoying a beautiful Milwaukee summer day and a delicious meal outside. OnMilwaukee has a great outdoor eating guide that is broken down by neighborhood. Check it out for some great local eats!
6. Spend a day at Summerfest
The world’s largest music festival is right here in Milwaukee! Check out this year’s dates and line ups, and enjoy music, as well as local food and vendors.
7. Go to a Brewers Game
Pack your tailgating gear and head to a Brewers Game! Am Fam Field is a great ballpark for groups of all ages!
8. Kayak Along the Milwaukee River
Take in Milwaukee from a different view and rent some kayaks along the river. Milwaukee Kayak Company has daily kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals, as well as guided tours!
9. Head to a Brewery, Distillery or Beer Garden
You haven’t visited Milwaukee without a trip to a brewery or distillery. Spend an afternoon taking a tour or enjoying a local beer garden!
10. Have Drinks with a View
