Best Date Night Restaurants in Milwaukee

Door Co Distillery Date

Looking for a spot for the perfect Milwaukee for a date night? I’ve put together some of my favorite spots to enjoy a night out with your s/o.

Storyhill BKC

This cozy spot is one of my favorites, and is located in the Storyhill neighborhood of Milwaukee (just north of Miller Park). They serve small plates for dinner, a great brunch on the weekends, and I have never had a thing on their menu that I didn’t like.

Bridgewater

A newer spot, located in Milwaukee’s Harbor District. Bridgewater has a great variety with their modern grill menu. I would highly recommend the crab cake and the oak-fired carrots to go alone with your mains.

Glassnote Candle Bar

Make a reservation with your s/o for cocktails and candle making! Glassnote is an atmospheric spot in the 5th Ward that has great cocktails and mock-tails to enjoy while doing a new activity together.

Harbor House

In the mood for seafood with a view? Harbor House has a great menu and is right on Milwaukee’s lakefront!

Ardent

For a unique/upscale experience, try the tasting menu at Ardent. You will not be disappointed!

Odd Duck

I know I’ve talked about Odd Duck on the blog before, but it is one of my favorite spots for date night. They have an ever changing small plates menu and great cocktails! It’s the perfect intimate setting for a fun night out.

Le Reve

Transport yourself to a quaint French cafe for a delicious and romantic evening out with you s/o. They has great food and equally great french pastries for dessert!

Eldr + Rime

Another Wauwatosa spot, located in the Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel. If you’re in the burbs, I highly recommend this spot for dinner or brunch! The Scandinavian inspired design pairs perfectly with their cozy menu. A great place for a date night, girls night or group dinner.

Buckley’s

Buckley’s is a great spot to check out if you’re in the downtown area. It’s a family owned, local spot, with great food and even better bar.

Ca’Lucchenzo

If you’re like me and always in the mood for Italian, you can’t go wrong with Ca’Lucchenzo. They have delicious cocktails and pasta dishes, and a very cozy atmosphere. While their food is amazing, my favorite part about this spot are the vintage plates and stemware. Every plate is so unique and it makes you feel like you’re in your Italian grandmothers kitchen.

Lake Park Bistro

If you’re looking to add a little class to your night out, Lake Park Bistro is the perfect spot. This french eatery, offers amazing service, white table cloths and beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Be sure to call of a reservation if you want a window seat!

Firefly Tosa

Firefly has great food, and a dark, romantic atmosphere. Perfect for a date night!

Third Coast Provisions

Are oyster bars your calling? Third Coast Provisions is known for theirs! Make a reservation to indulge in their amazing seafood and cocktail pairings!

Where are your favorite spots for date night? Do you have a spot that is a must visit?
