Our first anniversary is coming up, so I am getting pretty nostalgic with wedding memories. I wasn’t writing a lot last summer since we were swamped with wedding planning, so I wanted to share some wedding memories with you this month!

First on the list is my bridal shower; thrown by my family and Maid and Matron of Honor. If there are two things that I will always love, it’s breakfast food and beautiful blooms. So it was only natural to have my family and friends enjoy a garden party brunch, complete with champaign bar, desserts and a flower crown!

My mom graciously hosted, since her house is the most “in-between place” for both mine and Brian’s family, and my Maid and Matron of Honor were in charge of the decor. They did an AMAZING job, and other than it being about 90 degrees and humid, it was the perfect day. Taking the time to be with family and friends during this time of our lives was great, and it was so fun to have everyone together just to enjoy each other’s company before the big day!
