Milwaukee Brunch Spots

Milwaukee Brunch

If there’s one thing Milwaukeeans love, it’s brunch! On Sunday morning, restaurants open their doors and are soon flooded with people looking for a table. Some are enjoying their “Sunday-Fundays,” while others are catching up with family or friends. Tables are quickly filled with skillets, waffles, bloody mary’s and mimosas… Who doesn’t love that?

And because I am no different than my fellow Milwaukeeans, I want to share my favorite bunch spots with you!

Wicked Hop

The Wicked Hop will always hold a special place in my heart since it’s where my husband and I had our first date. But, in addition to having sentimental value, it’s a great spot for brunch and bloody mary’s! It has a laid-back, bar atmosphere and a large covered patio. Great for a lovely spring day, or even a hot summer morning. Truly the perfect spot to camp out for the day to people watch and pet all of the puppies that pass by.

Uncle Wolfie’s

A newer addition to the Milwaukee restaurant scene, Uncle Wolfie’s has great food and amazing cappuccinos! You’ll find the owners walking around, greeting old friends or chatting with customers. There’s a truly homey atmosphere that’s fun to be apart of, even if you’re just stopping in for a quick bite. On the weekends, it tends to fill up quickly, but you can always browse their adorable boutique, Orange & Blue, while you what for a table. And, let me tell you, it is worth the wait!

Story Hill BKC

If you love small plates, then this is the brunch spot for you! Story Hill BKC is the perfect place for sampling and sharing with your friends, or on a brunch date. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Seats go fast, so be sure to make a reservation!

Centraal Grand Cafe & Tappery

This Bay View neighborhood staple just re-opened it’s doors after a full remodel! Centraal Grand Cafe now has an updated menu, and an unfathomable about of beverages on tap. This is a great place to hang out with your girlfriends and enjoy some berry basil French toast, olibollen (fancy Belgium donuts), and a Bay View au grantin skillet. They also have a beautiful ivy covered courtyard in the back to enjoy your food outside once the weather is nice!

What are some of your favorite brunch/breakfast spots? Anything new that you’ve been dying to try?
