Arbonne Honest Review

Honest Review Arbonne

As many of you know, I have been working on swapping out my old beauty products and focusing on clean beauty. So, I was very excited when my friend reached out to me to see if I want to try Arbonne!

Arbonne sells pure, botanically based products like makeup, skin care, and even nutritional supplements. For 35 years, Arbonne has developed world-class products with botanicals and cutting-edge science. Their mission is to always improve and evaluate their ingredient policy as an ever-evolving standard of excellence. Basically, they’ve taken out all the guess work when it comes to buying clean beauty products!

I was sent a box of goodies to test out for you guys, and give my HONEST opinion. So, let’s dive into the good stuff!

Calm Line

The calm line is for sensitive skin, and helps hydrate, comfort and sooth. From this line I tried the Soothing Facial Serum, Gentle Daily Moisturizer and Soothing Eye Gel. While I just tried a small sample of each, I was able to see results fairly quickly! The redness in my face went down after just one use, and the eye gel felt really hydrating on my skin every morning. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean everyday face routine, this is a great place to start.

Clear Future Line

In recent months, I’ve unfortunately developed constant hormonal acne on my cheeks, and it has been basically impossible to get rid of without harsh chemicals. So, I was very excited to try the Clear Future line! I used most of the products in the line to work together to fight my trouble areas. I used the Deep Pore Acne Cleanser twice a day, followed by the Corrective Acne Treatment Pads at night. In addition, I used the Mattifying Acne Treatment Lotion on my face during the day and at night.

While I did notice a difference in my skin over all, it wasn’t able to get rid of my acne. That being said, I don’t blame the product! I truly think this would work for someone that had trouble spots that weren’t necessarily hormonal. I loved that all of the products in the line were gentle on my skin and didn’t dry it out. And I loved the Mattifying Lotion because it kept my skin less oily and prevented more breakout from happening during the day. Overall, I think the line helped my skin, it just couldn’t fully cure it.

RE9 Advanced Line

The RE9 Advanced skincare line was made to help rejuvenate and brighten your skin. (Who does want that?!) On top of that, the whole line is infused with Vitamin C and Sustainable Orange Stem Cells, so it smells like oranges. (Yum!) I love the Firming Body Lotion. I have dry skin pretty much year round, and this lotion wakes my skin up and gives it some much needed brightening. I love using it all over, but especially on my legs and arms when they are in need some a little extra love. The Intensive Renewal Serum was also a fun product to try. While you can use it morning and night, I loved putting it on after washing my face each morning to give my skin a healthy glow. The fresh citrus scent really helps wake you and your skin up too!

Makeup

Enough about skincare, onto the makeup! Because makeup sits on your face all day, it’s really important to me to have clean products that I can trust. So, I was happy to add some of Arbonne’s makeup to my routine. The first product I tried was the Intelligence Pollution Defense CC Cream with SPF 30, and wow! I loved it from the second I put it on! I have never tried a CC Cream before, but it blended perfectly with my skin and gave me great coverage. (I also love that there is a good amount of SPF in it too.)

I also tried the Glossed Over Lip Gloss (in Mimosa) and the Vanilla Lip Balm. The lip gloss was a fun color for going out on a summer night with the girls, but for everyday, I will forever be a chapstick/lip balm kinda gal. I loved the Lip Balm and with one application in the morning, it kept my lips moisturized all day!

My favorite Products

CC Cream

My absolute favorite product has been the CC Cream. It has great medium coverage, hides all of my redness and lasts all day (seriously). I honestly loved the CC Cream so much that I ordered Arbonne’s concealer to go with it! I have always been “fair” when it comes to any makeup shade, and Arbonne products are no different. The shade blends perfectly with my skin tone and it’s very easy to apply. (You can simply use your fingers to blend, or a beauty blender works great!)

CC Cream

Mattifying Acne Treatment Lotion

While the Clear Future line didn’t solve all of my acne problems, I still loved the lotion for everyday use. It’s light and doesn’t clog my pores. Because I have hormonal acne, it is pretty hard to get rid of, so having a lotion that helps fight it all day really puts my mind at ease and helps my skin from getting too oily or getting worse than it already is.

Vanilla Lip Balm

Ok, this might seem like a lame pick, but I assure you it’s not! If you know me, you know that I am addicted to chapstick. Literally. I always have one everywhere, and I get antsy if I forget it at home. I have one on my nightstand, my purse, my car and my desk at work, haha. So trust me when I tell you, I know a good lip balm when I see one! I love Arbonne’s Vanilla Lip Balm because it glides on so well, and keeps my lips so hydrated and soft. Also, who doesn’t love the smell of vanilla?!?

The Real Conceal

This was a product that I ended up buying myself after trying all of the goodies my friend sent over, and I love it! It comes in a ton of different shades, but I went with “fair,” and it worked out perfectly. A little bit goes a long way, and it really helps brighten the bags under my eyes!

Overall, I love using Arbonne! It’s great to use a product that I know is safe and good for my skin and body as a whole. If you find yourself browsing their site, you will also notice that they have many helpful tools on how to use each product, and help you pick the perfect shade! If you have any questions regarding the products, leave your comments below and I’d be happy to answer them!
